Cincinnati State College Democrats

The purpose of the Cincinnati State College Democrats is to represent and foster the views of the Democratic Party at Cincinnati State College. As a political organization, they help college students become involved in politics and elections by sponsoring speakers, facilitating campaigning, and attending regional, state, and national political functions. The College Democrats provide information to the campus regarding the Democratic Party platform and its candidates for office. The group also works on voter registration drives, increasing voter turnout, and other citizenship activities.

Framing Workshop

Democracy for Cincinnati in-conjunction with the Cincinnati State College Democrats presents the Framing Workshop

Featuring:
Springer on the Radio personality Jene Galvin
Hamilton County Commissioner Todd Portune
and former Mayor of Cincinnati Roxanne Qualls

When: Saturday April 9th

Time: Sign-ins begin at 9:30, Workshop from 10:00 - 12:30

Where: Cincinnati State College - ATLC, Room 108

What: Learn how to FRAME issues from a Democratic and Progressive viewpoint and create a language that can be used to win elections.

How: Review of George Lakoff's video "How Democrats and Progressives Can Win with panel discussion followed by open discussion and group activities.
